Back-to-School / Birthday Wish List

Along with trying to condense my closet and donate things I've stopped wearing, I've also started a list of basic, go-to pieces I hope to acquire before the end of the year. They're variations of what was in trend last season (which is basically all fashion, right?), but they're all items I've put off buying in hopes that a better version would appear...and it did!

Asos Romper: I love this rusty orange/brown color that's going on here. It's a nice transition from summer to fall, and it reminds me of Thanksgiving in the best way possible. Plus, I'm a sucker for kimono sleeves.

Madewell Perfect Penny Loafer: Honestly, it couldn't have a more appropriate title. I was eyeing the Fry James Penny Loafer for a while, but it's too masculine for me. I walked into Madewell last week and almost ran to these. The colors are full...none of that distressed bullshit. The tongue is not too long as to look masculine, but not too short as to detract from looking like a true penny loafer. These are my dream, basic, go-to flats.

Cooperative Fox Print Tote: Big enough to fit my laptop, interesting enough to make wearing a print worthwhile, neutral enough to wear with everything.

Envelope Laptop Case: This is one step up from the envelope clutch, which I love in theory, but could never use casually because I carry too much shit.

RVCA Something to See Hoody: I like the idea of a pullover with buttons. Also, charcoal heather is good color to have in the closet.

Asics Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Baja Shoes: I'm not sure how I feel about long names for shoes. I've been looking at Nike to find a cool pair of sneakers, but haven't really come across anything. The original Mexico 66 lace-ups are classics, you know, the kind that are cool until you wear them because everyone thinks you're wearing them because you're trying to be cool? Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me either. Anyway, for whatever reason, I'm notorious for having untied shoes. Let's bring back velcro!
