Asos chino pants | Madewell "Perfect Pennyloafer"
After several months of passive desire, these Madewell penny loafers went on sale, so I snatched 'em up. As my cousin said, "They wouldn't call them perfect unless they meant it." They're a bit tight for my wide feet, so I'm breaking them in at home. For some reason, I feel like loafers look best with bare skin (with ankle/rolled up pants, shorts, shorter skirts and dresses), or with the right outfit, socks. I haven't been won over by loafers with tights just yet, but we'll see.
Also, you can't see it, but there's a pile of wreckage (aka heaps of clothes) to the left of this picture as I reorganize my closet. When I went looking for my Christmas sweater last week, I came across a lot of clothes that I haven't seen or thought about since I moved and have no plans of ever wearing again. However, I'm also coming across of a lot of things that I'd like to wear in new ways, so I'm excited about recycling my clothes.
